I created this sigil especially for my necromancy work.
I use this sigil to interact with the dead: to summon; to dismiss; to elevate; to liberate; to lay to rest; to inquire; to silence.
A description of the sigil:
The silhouette of an owl resting on a scythe, radiating a corona.
Above the owl's head appears the Hebrew letter Aleph in white - the first letter, equivalent to the Greek Alpha. Aleph is at once one and 1,000 - timeless and eternal. It is the hero and the ox - it is that which is primary - it is the opening of the mouth so an utterance can be made. It represents the ultimate reality that transcends description.
On the owl's body appears the Hebrew letter Mem in black - the middle letter of the Aleph Bet. It is the symbol of ripening - the time it takes for evolution or development. Owls were held in antiquity to be the departing souls of the dead. Mem is water - the boundary of the known. It makes the "m" sound. In Egyptian hieroglyphics, the "m" sound is symbolized by the owl.
On the scythe appears the Hebrew letter Tav in black - the final letter of the Aleph Bet, equivalent to the Greek Omega. Tav is the hunter's cross, the Tau mark, the ending, the seal. It represents completion.
Taken as a whole, the three letters Aleph - Mem - Tav - spell Emet: Truth.
The first and second letters - Aleph - Men - spell Em: Mother
The second and third letters (in black) - Mem - Tav - spell Met: Death.
Some part of Truth transcends Death. From that eternal part and the transmigrating soul, we are reborn.
We all end at the scythe, our souls ripening to what comes next. Nonetheless, our spiritual essence remains radiant - our unfolding of the light of the ultimate survives even Death.
For necromancy work, the various letters of the sigil are used like notes in a melody. The letters are illuminated or energized to "play their note". These "songs" of ending, transforming and transcending are used to compel the spirits.he neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!

I
Ian Crosser (Denver, US) Love the shirt! Quality printing, and a soft T.

BC (Portland, US) I’ve gotten used to lower quality print on demand shirts from various other shops so didn’t expect too much, but the Hoodoo Moses shirts are very soft, the print quality is top notch, and the sizing was accurate. I am very happy with this purchase.
