Psalm 114 has been used as an amulet for successful business for at least 1000 years. It's a time consuming operation - the Psalm takes the better part of an hour to properly calligraphy - but it's proven effective time and time again.
The original text recommending this magical use suggests the psalm be written and placed behind the door of a business. The 19th + early 20th century collections of Psalmic magic suggest the parchment be carried or worn in a pouch prepared for the purpose (ie a mojo bag).
I like to prepare this one on $2 bills - not just for the association with luck, money and fortune, but because the dimensions of the bill really work PERFECTLY for this 8 line Psalm.
I steam the bills in sweetening and money drawing herbs until they carry the scent, and anoint my hands in a biblical perfume I make from cinnamon, calamus and myrrh before I write the Psalm.
The amulets are completed by inscribing with the appropriate Holy Name and anointing thoroughly in a prosperity oil.
This one is a go-to for me - one of my favorites in the religious liturgy and one of my most trusted amulets.
