Dozens and dozens of roses offered on the altar, collected for months, and slowly extracted.

This one is inspired by the pile of decaying grave bouquets at the cemetery.

Cloying sweetness, with syrupy earth notes - a pure extraction of the deep dark floral scents that are missing from light, bright and airy Florida Waters.

A spiritual fragrance to tempt the dead - or draw in and intoxicate the living. Appropriate for love work, Necromancy, seduction or making new friends and lovers among the living and the dead. Adored by powerful spirits, it pairs well with cigar smoke to capture and fix their attention.

Got it before the day of the dead season and got to use it on my shrine for Dios de Los Muertos and man it did it light up my place of worship

NOT fooling around

A Dear Friend passed yesterday and we had some unresolved issues. I set an altar for her, washed and filled the water glass, lit incense, carved the candle. When I tilted my hand to dress the candle, nearly the entire bottle spilled onto the altar! I suctioned off what I could, then set a lighter to the remainder - altar, offering pedestals, incense, all of it. It went up in glorious flame. The altar cloth is vintage die-cut velvet. Not one bit of it was crispy or burnt or had any evidence of fire. Not what I intended yet clearly called for. Thank you for helping bones voyage my friend.

Yes. Very yes. For those of us already working in necromancy, this is an obvious and easy yes. For those of us inhabiting the love and death niche specifically--you already know you want it. "Adored by powerful and erotic spirits" is right, and if you know, you know. The entity in your life that comes to mind as you peruse the listing? You think they'd like it? You're right. Go for it.

For everybody else, I'll note that Roses for the Dead has a variety of potential uses. Dress candles, anoint objects, mark any offering as the gift or invitation it is. If you want in on spirit or death god work, I'm sure this formulation will get somebody's attention right quick. Potent, powerful, sets the tone. It's polite to show up with a present when you're visiting someone's house, isn't it? And rude to only call when you need something, and smart to show that you know the rules. Always have something to offer.

I'm positive this appeals to a wide variety of spirits. I'm sure it's fabulous for La Santa Muerte and her devotees. I'm certain most death gods will dig it. But for me? My specific purpose? I'm using this with offerings to The Baronโ€”not so much to get his attention, but to show my appreciation and affection many years in. For that, I know Roses for the Dead works very well. So even if you're well established in your arrangementsโ€”do something nice for your friendly death aligned favorite. Show 'em some love.

Useful for the neophyte, useful for the seasoned practitioner. Powerful and comes with cute little reaper bottle art. What more is there to want?
